Ernest "Ernie" Gertsch, 91, of Tracyton died Sunday at Ridgemont Terrace.He was born in Reansfield, Kan., to Alfred and Mina (Beauchamp) Gertsch. He married Beth Ammons on June 4, 1938, in Tracyton. Mr. Gertsch worked as a logger in Dewatto and as a rigger foreman at PSNS. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. Mr. Gertsch enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, camping and traveling in his RV with the Elks traveling club.He was preceded in death by his brother, Everett "Dick" Gertsch. He is survived by his wife, Beth Gertsch of Port Orchard; a son, David Gertsch (Judy) of Port Orchard; daughters, Gail DuRoss (Bill) of Arkansas and Diane Como (fiance Floyd Rider) of Tracyton; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
