Funeral services for Peggy Nabers, 82, are set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Tuscumbia Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis H. Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Tuscumbia Cemetery.

Mrs. Nabers died Monday, March 2, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born Aug. 24, 1932, to Mark and Nellie Kate Lambert. She was a member of Tuscumbia Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Whipple (Wayne) of Tupelo and Rhonda Allred (Sammy) of Corinth; one sister, Earline Rinehart of Natchez; three sisters-in-law, Geraldine Lambert of Booneville, Esta Bethay of Booneville and Marjorie Gresham of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother-in-law, McEllis Nabers of Booneville; six grandchildren, Joshua Whipple (Ambur) Holly Babcock (Jonathan), Patrick Whipple (Brigette), Nicholas Whipple (Kristy), Adam Whipple (Jessi) and Clayton Allred; 12 great-grandchildren, Marie, Capri and Joaquin Whipple, Anna, Will, Mary and Jacob Babcock, Allie, Aubry, Duncan and Preston Whipple and Wesley Whipple; one special cousin-in-law, Ilene Lauderdale; her special caregivers, Pat Carpenter, Lila Grisby, Wanda Seago, Peggy Pickens and Joyce Holland; and a host of special friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Houston M. Nabers and R.L. Duncan; her parents; one sister, Moline Hare; and one brother, John Watson Lambert.

Pallbearers are Joshua Whipple, Patrick Whipple, Nicholas Whipple, Adam Whipple, Clayton Allred and Jonathan Babcock.
