Mother Agnes Slater Prince-Williams was born on November 9, 1917 in Statesboro, GA to the late Pete and Ceclia Slater. She was the second of eight siblings.

Mother William accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She was baptized under the leadership of Rev Hebert Lawton pastor of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Statesboro, Georgia. Mother Williams was a true child of God. She joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev William Porter. She served the church faithfully for more than 70 years and will be remembered as a Deaconess, Youth Choir Director, and the Mother's Ministry. She was a dedicated Missionary up until her health failed. Mother Williams didn't mind letting her light shine and letting letting her family and friends know that Christ was her All and All wherever she went. She loved her church.

On Friday evening Feb 27, 2015, Mother Williams took her flight to her heavenly home to be at rest. She was ready! Her family was surrounding her with love. but loving her enough to let her go.

She was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers, one sister, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories; Sons: Clarence (Judy) Prince of Statesboro, GA and Robbie (Sonya) Williams of Tyler, TX, Daughters; Mary Forde & Alyce Yvonne Washington both of Tampa, FL, Doris (Sanford) Benjamin of Cocoa FL, Lorraine Williams & Cassandra (Willie) Harden of Ft. Pierce, FL, Sisters; Lossie (Sam) Lee of Fiskville, NY, Sarah (Louis) Hilton of Cincinnati, OH and Mary (Jimmy) Saab of Statesboro, GA; 40 grandchildren, and 88 great-great grandchildren

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015, 3pm-7pm at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and Saturday, March 7, 2015, 9am-12pm at Sarah's Memorial Chapel. A Homegoing service will be conducted on Saturday, March 7, 2015, 2pm at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. A burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
