She was born on March 22, 1941, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Herbert and Evelyn (Fritsch) Stuiber. Patricia was a graduate of Valders High School, class of 1960. She then graduated from Accredited Beauty School in 1962. On Sept. 17, 1966, she married Allan A. Zaruba at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Patricia was the owner and operator of Milady Beauty Salon of Manitowoc for over 20 years. She then was employed for eight years at St. Mary's and the Felician Village as a beautician. Patricia enjoyed gardening, baking, casino trips, visiting and playing cards with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband: Allan Zaruba, Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth and Germaine Stuiber, Manitowoc; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Shirley and Melroy Feit, Madison, Dolores Heidorf, Manitowoc; a brother-in-law: Raymond Zaruba, Maribel; and a sister-in-law: Lorraine Zaruba, Kellnersville. She is also survived by one nephew, six nieces, three great-nephews, two great-nieces, other relatives and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters-in-law: Ilene Stuiber and Lou Zaruba.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th St., Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Alan Boeldt with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, until 10:45 a.m.
