obit: Mrs. Hannah Locke died at the German Hospital (Girard and Corinthian Avenues in North Philadelphia), Friday. She had gone there to undergo an operation for cancer of the stomach and died just after the operation had been performed. Mrs. Locke lived on the James S. Mann farm in Doylestown Township, recently (the German Hospital was re-named Lankenau Hospital in 1917 due to the anti-German sentiment of the times).
