Mrs. Lou C. Sevege was born in Nelson Co., Kentucky on March 14, 1872, and died in a hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Sept. 4, 1922.

She was operated on for appendicitis on Saturday and passed away on Monday.

When about 13 years of age she came with her parents (William and Sarah Myers) settling at Blandinsville, Ill.

She united with the Baptist church of which she was a member at the time of her death. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

In 1889 she was united in marriage to Oscar Farris. To this union one child was born, Mrs. Bessie Murphy, deceased. Her husband died in 1906.

In 1910 she was married to Henry Sevege. For several years her home has been in St. Louis, Mo. She leaves her husband, Henry Sevege of St. Louis, two grandsons, Merle and Max Murphy, one sister, Mrs. Mollie Lockett, Prentice, Ill., four brothers: Newton of Sciota, Henry of Swan Creek, Ewing of Raritan, and Harry N. of St. Louis.

The remains were brought to Blandinsville {Ill.}and taken to Lady {?}undertaking parlors where a short service was held by the Rev. Paterson, after which she was interred in the Foster addition of the South cemetery. All the relatives except Ewing {?}in Minnesota were present.
