TUCKER, Donald – of Davison, MI, age 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a valiant battle with lung cancer on March 16, 2015 at the Pines of Burton. A Funeral Service followed by Military Honors will be held 1 PM Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Bruce Garner officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Davison Senior Center or a charity of your choice.

Donald was born in Flint, MI on January 18, 1926, son of the late Ellis and Cora (Miller) Tucker. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII in the 32nd Infantry Regiment 7th Division, where he received the Purple Heart. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. He was an active member of the Davison Senior Center and served on the board. Donald retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
