Savannah Absher Lovette, age 79, of McGrady, widow of Jim Lovette, Sr., passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Lovette was born May 22, 1935 in Wilkes County to Charles Horton Absher, Sr. and Maude Lankford Absher. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Lovette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Lovette, Sr.; two daughters, Vicki Lovette Griffin, Kathy Lovette Darnell; three brothers, Travis Absher, Charles Absher, Jr., and Edward Absher.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Mountlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Kent Wood officiating. Entombment will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
