Genevieve, the 10 months' old baby girl of Mr. and Mrs. N.B. Atwood, of Caro, was so seriously injured Saturday that there seems to be no chance for her recovery. The go-cart containing the little one was at the stair landing over the N.B. Atwood & Co. implement store, when in some unexplainable manner the cab started down the long flight of stairs. The child was thrown violently upon her head against the walk at the bottom. Mr. and Mrs. Atwood are prominent young people of the village, Mr. Atwood being the son of Senator T.W. Atwood.
