The third death in four days occurred in the family of Mr. and Mrs. John Acker on Washington Street, Saturday night.

Two little children were buried yesterday afternoon from the home at the same time, and the occasion was a doubly sad one.

Eugene Acker died Saturday morning and Albert Acker, aged 13 months, died Saturday night.

All three deaths have been from scarlet fever. Seven members of the family were down with the disease, but the remainders are convalescent.

Services were conducted by Rev. Fr. Joseph Meckel of St. Mary's church.
