Obituary - Aloysius Schmitt, 80, of Gillette Avenue, Bayport, died early yesterday morning in Southside Hospital. Mr. Schmitt was born in Germany and had made his home in Bayport for the past 45 years. He was a retired florist.
He leaves three sons, Joseph, of Bayport, Albert, of Blue Point, and Fred, of Sayville; a daughter, Mrs. William Scopinich, of Bayport; 18 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited this evening (Friday) at eight o'clock at the Robertaccio Funeral Home, 85 Medford Avenue, Patchogue. A requiem mass will be offered tomorrow morning at nine o'clock in Our Lady of the Snow R.C. Church, Blue Point. Interment will be in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery, Patchogue.
