In 1829 Lawson is listed on the Boston City Directory, living at 2 Hancock Row, as a handcart man. Lawson was buried at Tomb # 123, South Burying Ground, Boston, Mass., service by Undertaker Thomas Haskell. Eliza was buried at Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover, Mass.
