Stella Keesee Weikle, 87, formerly of Beckley, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2006, in a Lewisburg nursing home following a long illness.
Born June 20, 1918, at Pax, she was one of nine children of the late Richard and Clara Akers Keesee.
A graduate of Trap Hill High School, she married Roscoe Weikle on September 28, 1935. They were married 58 years before his death in 1993.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Beckley and was a member of the Ann Rose Sunday school class.
A volunteer in special education for Raleigh County Schools, she had been a member and officer of the Rural Acres Garden Club, Appalachian District.
There was three children born to this union and five grandchildren.
Burial was in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley
