-- Virden, Feb. 1.-Mrs. Lillie D. Ball, 62, died at 12:30 a.m. today at her home in the Bois D'Arc community, six miles east of here. She had been ill the last six weeks.
-- Decedent was born in Bois D'Arc township, Montgomery county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry G. Thomas. She is survived by her husband, W. A. Ball, and a son, Ralph; a granddaughter, Dorothy Ball, Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, Harry Thomas of Virden and Frank Thomas of Springfield; one sister, Mrs. Nettie Burris, Springfield.
-- Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Bois D'Arc Baptist church. Rev. J. T. Finnan of Morrisonville will officiate and interment will be in Virden cemetery.
