LOCAL RESIDENT DIES SUDDENLY

Rites for Ralph LeMasters Will Be Held Wednesday

Ralph LeMasters, employee of the Admiral Corporation, died suddenly Sunday at 8:20 a.m. while at the Blue River Farms Dairy Products. He was 63 years of age.

Mr. LeMasters, whose home was at 1202 S. Harrison St., formerly was a farmer and had spent the greater part of his life near Wilson's Corner in Shelby township.

He was born in Shelby township on July 16, 1888, the son of William and Cordelia (Tindall) LeMasters. He was married to Ophelia Hendrickson, who survives with seven of nine children born to the union. The children are Arthur LeMasters of Batesville; Carroll of Waldron; Mrs. Lucille Carlin, Indianapolis; Mrs. Marjorie Hill, Ferguson, Mo.: Lawrence of Long Island, N. Y.; Claude of Beaumont, Tex., and Mrs. Eleanor Jean Pigman of Cincinnati.

Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Essie Roberts of near Flat Rock, and two brothers, William of California and Russell of near Waldron, and 12 grandchildren.

Mr. LeMasters was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in North Indianapolis and Elder O. F. Lock will officiate at funeral rites at the Murphy Mortuary Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in he Lewis Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 6:00 o'clock this evening.
