She was a native of Alabama. She was a graduate in chemistry of Huntingdon College and Auburn University. She had resided in West Virginia since 1951, with her husband, as he practiced in Seth, Beckley and Charleston, W.Va. She had been active in local theater and ballet activities, and served as a guide for school groups and visitors at the Capitol for a number of years.
Her son, Alex, preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 27, at Wilson Funeral Home, Charleston. Private family interment will be at a later date.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
