Marlene Wright, 70, of Canyon died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006.
Celebration of life services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Avenue Baptist Church of Hereford with Jim Bulin officiating. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Cemetery by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wright was born Feb. 27, 1936, in Oklahoma to Jack and Velma Hudson. She was a member of Avenue Baptist Church and Temple Baptist Church of Hereford.
Survivors include four sons, Gary Wright, Jimmy Wright, Bruce Wright and Michael Sean Kelly, all of Amarillo; two daughters, Susan Bartz of Canyon and Charlene Smith of Amarillo; a brother, Jim Hudson of Nevada; three sisters, Sue White and Danova Bromlow, both of Hereford, and Cormeda Langford of Lubbock; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
