Married Susannah Sarah Byatt in 1867 in Saffron Waldon, Essex, England.

Immigrated aboard the Hereford, arriving Dec. 6, 1878.

Father of Hephzibah (Mynott) Bance, Margaret Mynott, Edward John Mynott, Susannah (Mynott) Fury, Abner Byatt Mynott, Cecil "Chris" Mynott [born Cecil Carrigg Dunton], Florence (Mynott) Hurst, and Mrs. William Clark.


OBITUARY
The death of Mr. Oliver
[sic] Mynott senr. of Cartwrlght's Hill, North Wagga, removes one of the oldest residents of the district. Deceased, who was 74 years of age, formerly, was engaged in the milling business. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon; leaving his late residence at 2 o'clock and was largely attended by relatives and friends from Ganmain, Kyeamba Creek, Wagga, and other parts. The Interment took place in the Methodist portion of, the Wagga cemetery. Tho pall bearers were Messrs. Edward, Abner, and Christopher Mynott (sons of deceased), John Bance, William Clark, and Louis Fury (sons-in-law of the deceased) . The Rev. H. S. Doust of The Rock, kindly officiated at the graveside.
