It is quite possible he and his wife Rebecca died and are buried in Parke County along with daughters Lydia Lang, Nancy Lewis, Rebecca Kent, and sons Aaron Jr. and Elderkin Ashford.
5-2020 Update - Per the "Portrait and Biographical Album of Hillsdale County, Michigan" 1888, Pg. 304 highlighting Jesse and wife Elizabeth Chamberlain Crow, the above graphic indicates that Aaron Ashford Sr. and wife Rebecca Jane Nutt Ashford spent the remainder of their lives in Columbiana County, Ohio. Elizabeth Chamberlain Crow was the daughter of Samuel and Susannah Ashford Chamberlain. Susannah Ashford Chamberlain was the daughter of Aaron and Rebecca Jane Nutt Ashford. I am still looking for additional verification.
Until it is conclusively proven Aaron and Rebecca will remain buried in Columbiana County, Ohio.
