Bill "Uncle Bill" Cox, 63, of Pana died Sunday, March 29, 2015 in Prairie Rose Health Care Center, Pana.
He was born March 6, 1952 in Pana, IL, the son of the late George F. & Florence Catherine Matheny Cox, Sr. A graduate of Warrensburg High School, he had lived in the Mt. Pulaski and Pana areas. He was a supervisor at Throall Railcar in Clinton. He was a member of ABATE and former member of Eagles. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers.
Bill is survived by his brother George F. Cox, Jr. & wife Tina, Pana; sisters: Marcella Boarman, Tower Hill; Rozella Sanders & husband Charlie, Tower Hill; Marlene Dial & husband Nelson, Hinton; Darlene Hays, Pana and by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister Debra Ishmael.
Cremation rites will be accorded. No services are planned.
