Ardelia Driggers Glisson was born in Bulloch County, Georgia in August of 1854. On January 21, 1878 she married Roan A. Glisson, and they had seven children: William H. Glisson, Eva E. Glisson, Addie Glisson, Roy Wood Glisson, Brantley Slater Glisson, Sidney Glisson, and Arthur Frankling Glisson. Ardelia preceeded Roan in death. The two are buried in Lower Black Creek Cemetery in Bryan County, Georgia.
