Dead But Not Forgotten
Aaron Gose
Our Father Departed
This Life Jan 2, 1881
Born March 30, 1816
Aged 64 years, 9 months and 3 days
Our father has gone to a mansion of rest
From a region of sorrow and pain
To the glorious land by the deity blest
Where he never can suffer again.
He trusted in God loved truth
practiced virtue and left his children
a priceless inheritance of a good name.

There are four identical headstones in the Aaron Gose Cemetery that can no longer be read. We believe that these are the stones of the children of Aaron and Nancy that died young. They are George W., Virginia, John Tyler and Henry H. Gose.
