Burt was retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding as an Engineer. He loved fishing, farming, working with his hands and especially loved his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerald Fisher and sister, Diane Fisher. He is survived by his wife, Rose Fisher, son, Tony (Stephanie) Fisher, daughter, Tori (Richard) Scorzelli, grandchildren, Jordan Shotts, Brandon Shotts, Dalton Shotts, Matthew Fisher and Natalie Fisher, sister, Virginia Wood, brother in law and sister in law, Josalie and Bill Hodgins and nephews, Jacob and Jonathan Hodgins, other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Point-Escatawpa, Mississippi. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Bradley officiating. Interment will be in Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa, Mississippi.
