Daughter of George Cridler, mother unknown on DC, she married John Wilhelm, was widowed, lived at 139 Grant St, Franklin. died there of apoplexy, per death certificate 61876, whose informant was F. C. Eshelman of the same address. Buried Jun 29 1929.

Franklin News-Herald, Saturday, Jun 17 1925:
Mrs. Marie Wilhelm passed away at 9 o'clock Friday evening at the home of daughter, Mrs. F. C. Eshelman, 139 Grant Street. She was born August 3 1835.

She had been ill only one week to the day. Up to that time, she had been unusually active, especially for one of her age, and had taken a keen interest in affairs. She was a devoted member of the Baptist church of Oil City for a number of years, and for the past 48 years had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Franklin. During her lifetime, she exemplified a wonderful Christian character.

Surviving are a son, N. O, Wilhelm of Orange, NJ; and the daughter at whose home she died.

Services will be at the home at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon with Rev. S. S. Clark and Rev. S. L. Porterfield officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
