           WILLIAM BLAIR
Died at the Home of His Daughter
      Thursday Afternoon

    William Blair, an old and much respected citizen of this place, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Fry, Thursday afternoon aged seventy-five years. He had been in poor health for some time.
The deceased was born in Sodus, Wayne County, N. Y., March 20, 1833, and came to Michigan when about five years of age settling near Detroit and afterwards moving to Rochester coming to Northville some forty years ago.
   He was married to Maria S. Gillett on October 29, 1859, at Fremont, Ohio. To them were born two children, Chas. A. Blair of Detroit and Mrs. Fred Fry of this place, who with two brothers and one sister, Henry Blair of Orion, Azel Blair of Clawson and Mrs. H. C. Hart of Detroit, still survive him. His wife died in Novmeber 1906.
   The funeral will be held from the home Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. W. G. Stephens officiating and burial in Rural Hill cemetery.
