Albert Josi, 83, died at the Columbus Hospital Monday forenoon. Though he had been in ill health for a number of years, his last attack came on Monday of this week.
Services will be held at the Jones Funeral Home here on Thursday (tonight) at 9 o'clock conducted by Rev. George Warren. There will be graveside rites at the Forest Hill Cemetery at Chippewa Falls on Friday at 1:00 o'clock. Friends may call at the Jones Funeral Home after noon today.
Mr. Josi had made his home with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Henry Sillman since 1936. He was a native of Switzerland and came to America at the age of five.
He was a caretaker at a Chippewa Falls cemetery for many years and just prior to his ocming to Waterloo farmed in the Flambeau area. His wife died in 1935.
Surviving are three sons; Adolph, Ladysmith, George, Milwaukee, Leslie, Waterloo; four daughters, Mrs. Sillman; Mrs. Bernice Masters and Mrs. Doris Milz, Des Plaines; Mrs. Norma Tegelman, Winneconne; four brothrs; Sam and Ernest of North Carolina; Alfred, Pasadena, California; Chris, Deerfield; and two sisters; Mrs. Ella Biebighauser, Minn.; and Mrs. Louise Webert, Fort Dodge, Iowa; 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
