A native of Tyler County and life long resident of Fred, she was a retired operator from Kirby Lumber Company.
She loved to fish and was happiest when she was at her camp on the Neches River. She also loved going to church.
Survivors include brothers D.C. Ard and W.T. Ard; sister Ruby Lee Crabtree and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Funeral services at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred.
