2) Col. Thomas Deye Cockey, Sr., Esq. (1762-1813) on March 25, 1793 at "Mount Airy", Baltimore Co., Maryland.

married James Hollis, of Cool Springs, Harford Co., MD.

Children of Col. Thomas Deye Cockey, Sr. (1762-1813) and second wife, Ann (Lux) Risteau (1770-1847):

1) Frances Thwaites Cockey (1794-1874),
married Dr. Edward Fendall (1786-1834), son of Dr. Benjamin Fendall (1753-1818) and his second wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Hughes) Rudolph (1762-1827).

2) Penelope Deye Cockey (1795-1853),
married Col. John W. Fendall, Dr. (1784-1842), son of Dr. Benjamin Fendall (1753-1818) and his first wife, Anne Marshall (1759-1785).

3) Joshua Frederick Cockey (1797-1821), of “ Wilton Wood”, which is today called “ Willowbrook”. Had no issue.

4) Thomas Deye Cockey, Jr. (1799-1887),
married Sarah Stewart “Sally” Lux (1807-1874), fourth daughter of Darby Lux III (ca. 1772-1812) and Mary Nicholson (d. 1813).

5) Charles Ridgely Cockey (1801-1837), who never married.

6) Ann Lux Cockey (1803-1883),
married first, Elijah Bosley Gittings (1802), son of Archibald Gittings and Elizabeth Bosley (1781-1812). Ann married second, Charles Adams Buchanan (1808-1891).

7) Rachel Ridgely Cockey (1805-1887).

8) Susanna Gist Cockey (1808-1855).

9) Harriet Newman Deye Cockey (1811-1841),
married Thomas Deye Cockey, Sr. (1805-1882), son of Col. Joshua Frederick Cockey, Sr. (1765-1821) and Elizabeth Fowble (1779-1834).
