Gertrude M. Bertlier (sic), age 83, a resident of St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died Friday evening, October 30, 1998, at the home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 1998, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Camillus Janas, O.F.M., with burial in Calvary cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born October 25, 1915, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late William and Clara Hessel Bertler. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the Class of 1932. Gertrude was employed at Invincible Office Furniture Company for 50 years, retiring in 1985. Gertrude was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include two sisters, Catherine Cieniewski, Chicago, and Margaret Montgomery, Chicago. Also surviving are nieces, one nephew, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Dudley.
Friends may call at St. Andrew Catholic Church on Monday morning from 9 a.m until the time of services at 10 a.m.
