FRANKLIN - Services for Sherri Gentry Granger Mire, 32, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ibert's Mortuary with Rev. Bobby Hodnett and Bro. Jason Lupo, of Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton, officiating. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Baldwin.

Visiting hours will be observed Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at Ibert's Mortuary.

A native of Amory, Miss., a former resident of Baldwin and a resident of Lafayette since 2000, Mrs. Mire died at 9:20 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2005, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Sherri was a caring and loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Mire of Lafayette; four daughters, Hailey Nicole Granger, Kennen Alexis Granger, Victoria Raichel Granger and Gabrielle Renee Mire; two step-sons, Bradley and Brett Mire; a step-daughter, Cierra Mire all of Lafayette; parents, Stephen D. and Hilda Joyce Gentry of Baldwin; a sister, Delana Hope Leffew of Fort Bragg, N.C.; a brother, Ted Boudreaux of Verdunville; paternal grandfather, Novel "Cowboy" Gentry and maternal grandmother, Doris Roebuck both of Aberdeen, Miss.

Mrs. Mire was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Virtie Gentry and maternal grandfather, Eugene Roebuck.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for all of the support given to them during their time of grief.
