--Dorothy Jean (Dot) LaPlante was the daughter of Lovelace Grant LaPlante, Sr. and second wife, Curia Myra Katherine Hughes. Dot married Paratrooper Don Clover about the time of "D-Day". They had a son, David. Many years later, they joined Dot's siblings in Florida after Don retired from Monsanto Chemical Company in St. Louis, Missouri. Don Clover died in Dallas, Texas in 2004.--

Dorothy Jean Clover, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 after a short illness.
Beloved wife of the late Don Clover, Sr. Dearest mother of Bill Schnorbus (Cecelia) of Cross City, Florida, grandchildren Cherie and Kelly; Don Clover, Jr. (Joyce) of Houston, Texas, grandchildren Jacey Clover and Casey Clover; Sue Hood (Roy) of St. Charles, Missouri, grandchildren Jamie Glass (deceased), Neale Glass (Angela), Brad Hood, great granddaughter, Addy, Tori Hood; Dan Clover and Barbara Consolino Clover of University City, Missouri, grandchildren Patrick Clover and Maggie Clover; Ellen Conforti (Frank) of Dallas, Texas, grandchildren Kayte Clover (deceased) and Samantha Conforti, great granddaughter, Carmela; David Clover (Terri) of Perry, Florida, grandchildren Lauren Clover and James Clover.
