The death of Miss Isabella Orr, which occurred in Oil City on Wednesday evening,January 6th and whose remains were brought to Clarion for interment on Friday, is thus mentioned by the Oil City Blizzard: Miss Isabella Orr, formerly of Clarion, whose home since September had been with her niece, Mrs. E. M. Wolfe, wife of Dr. Wolfe,died shortly after 9 o’clock Wednesday evening, January 6. Deceased was born in 1807, and was therefore in the eighty-fifth year of her age. Her death was due to the general infirmities of age, to which were added the weakening effects of an attack of the grip. Funeral services were held at the residence at 7:30 o’clock Thursday evening and the remains were taken to Clarion for interment Friday. A sister of the deceased, Miss Rebecca Orr, now in her seventy-ninth year, whose home for some time has also been at Dr. Wolfe’s residence, sustained a stroke of paralysis the first of this month and is in a very feeble condition.
