Funeral services for Beatrice Louise Self Brister, 90, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Bro. David Mixon and Bro. Dewayne Whittington officiating.

Interment will follow at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Brister was born May 16, 1924 in Vernon Parish, LA and passed away April 12, 2015 in Delhi, LA.

She was a member of Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Brister.

Mrs. Brister is survived by her daughters; Lorene Jones and husband Frank, Louise Cobb and husband Robert, Jeanette Thompson and husband Tim, Carolyn Stokes and husband Frankie and Bonnie Mikel and husband Gary; son, Traver Brister and wife Dovie; brothers, Sanford Self, T.C. Self and Curvin Self; 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Randall Bankston, Trey Brister, Gene Thompson, Paris Stokes, Marvin Ashley and Pancho Hernandez.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike McCure, Tim Baines, Billy Joe Carroll and Johnny Henderson.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
