In honor and celebration of a beautiful spirit, Mrs. Martha Elizabeth "Betty" Meigs entered into God's rest Wednesday, August 11, 2010. She was greeted in heaven by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Malvin B. Rose and her brother, Malvin B. Rose, Jr.

Known for her beautiful smile and gentle heart, she is survived by her husband of 58 years, SSGT (Retired) Lewis Elliott Meigs: her children, Steve Meigs, Brenda Mealing, Mike Meigs, Richard Meigs and Bruce Meigs, her brother and sisters, Kenny Rose, Patricia Vail, Ruth Nelson, and Margaret Ryan
