Albert McBride, 75, of 105 Newman Ave., died Monday in Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. He was the husband of Catherine (Stock) McBride.

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Anderson) McBride. He came to this country as a child, settling in Pawtucket. Mr. McBride moved to East Providence two years ago when he retired.

He was a custodian at Apex of Pawtucket and also with the R. N. Koch Co. of North Providence. Mr. McBride previously worked at the former Barrell Sunlight Paint Co., Providence.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and received the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Eugene Lefebvre Post, VFW, of Central Falls.
