Chester was a native of Scranton, PA, a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah, and a veteran of U.S. Army. He was retired from Claussner’s Hosiery Company after 34 years of service. He served as Sunday School Superintendent, and years ago served as a music director. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed sharing his fishing stories.
Survivors include his wife of 78 years, Mary Kilvitis Boyarski; three sons, Gary Boyarski and wife, Diane, Richard Boyarski and wife, Jennie, and Phillip Boyarski and wife Brenda all of Paducah, KY; eight grandchildren, Debora Wallace, Wesley Kay Boyarski, Zachary Boyarski, Jene’ Evans, Michelle Welch (Vince), LaDonna Alexander (Brad), Amy Thomas (Scott), Lari Prow; eight great-grandchildren, Amber Sanderson (Kyle), Matthew Jacob Wallace, Davis Evans, Cooper Evans, Finley Thomas, Aubrey Thomas, Victoria Little and Edie Little; one great-great grandchild, Brady Jacob Sanderson; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Boyarski & Mary Vetz Boyarski Shanoski; step-father, Michael Shanoski; one sister, one brother; two half-sisters and five half-brothers.
Services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with Military Rites. The Boyarski family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 until service time of 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.
