Mrs. Ida Kuhl, 65, widow of John Kuhl, former Manitowoc tavern operator, died yesterday afternoon at the Holy Family hospital. She was removed there from the home, 1003A Franklin street, early Wednesday when taken ill.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Pfeffer funeral home and at 10 o’clock from the St. Boniface church, the Rev. J. H. Schmitt officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Kuhl, nee Ida Hermann, was born in this city in 1876. She was married to John Kuhl, tavern operator, 42 years ago. She was one of the organizers of the Eagles auxiliary and its first president, holding the position of past worthy president at the time of her death. She was also a member of the St. Anne-C.M.A. society of the St. Boniface congregation. Mr. Kuhl died 11 years ago.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Henry Revolinsky who resided with her mother; a brother, Alex, of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Plotka of Milwaukee and Mrs. Stephen Ries of this city.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 7 o’clock tonight. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home Friday night at 7:30.
