The widow of Nolan M. “Sam” Myers, she retired from Damon International and was a member of Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class.
She is survived by daughters, Pasty (Donny) Sligh and Linda Sue (Steve) Kinard both of Newberry, and Sandra (Roy) Hill of Prosperity; a son, Jerry (Shirley) Myers of Prosperity; a sister, Janie Boland formerly of Newberry; grandchildren, Allen (Lisa) Sligh, Melissa (Robert) Dennis, Belinda (Johnny) Trammell, Amanda Myers, and Jenny (Brent) Long; great-grandchildren, Madison Dennis, Clayton Dennis, Alli (Jackson) Graham, John Steven Trammell, Tori Long, and Ryan Long. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Berge Vaughn and Colie Vaughn, and by a sister, Christine Cromer.
Funeral services: 4:30 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church by the Rev. Floyd Sides, with burial in the church cemetery.
