Mrs. Edythe Sarll Ransom, 47, wife of Dr. Dow H. Ransom, prominent Madera physician, died a 2:30 o'clock this morning at the Ransom home, 301 North C Street, following about a three months illness.

Private funeral Services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday after noon from the Ransom home. Rev. Wm. Payne will conduct the services. Burial will be in the mausoleum in Fresno.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Ransom is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Phillip Conley of Fresno and Miss Ida Mae Ransom of Madera; one son Dow H. Ransom, Jr., of Madera; her mother, Mrs. J. S. Clark of Madera; two brothers, Dr. Frank E. Sarll of Madera, and A. J. Sarll of Oakland; one sister Mrs. Fred L. Seibel of San Francisco.

Mrs. Ransom was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, September 27, 1883, coming to San Francisco when but a small child. It was there while she was nursing in a hospital that she met Dr. Ransom, to whom she was married in 1908 and in that year came with him to Madera where he was just beginning to practice.
