Louise Kingery, 89, died Thursday, February 16, 2006, at CLC Altoona Health Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2006, at Saints John and Paul Catholic Church in Altoona, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Berwick Cemetery.

Louise was born on January 24, 1917 in Des Moines, the daughter of George and Marie (Ford) Dressick. She worked at Wonder Bakery and Goodwill Industries as a cashier before she retired in 1989. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett; and a son, Bob.

Louise is survived by daughters, Beverly Armantrout and Barbara (Oliver) Wright of Altoona and Sue (Bob) Vignovich of Berwick; sons, Don (Eleanor) and Ron (Andrea) of Des Moines; sisters, Marge Helm, Kate Andrews and Kelly Herrera; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2006, at Iles Funeral Homes, Grandview Park Chapel with a vigil service at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
