Ann M. Mackey, age 96, formerly of 912 Lincoln Blvd., Manitowoc, died Saturday, March 2, 2002, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m.Thursday, March 7, 2002, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service was the Rev. Gerald Foley with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born May 1, 1905, in Whitelaw, daughter of the late Anton and Anna Wellner Kolbeck. Ann attended Manitowoc schools and the Manitowoc County Normal School. On Oct. 4, 1934, she married Elmer Mackey at St. Raphael’s Church,Glasgow, Mont. He preceded her in death Sept. 29, 1978. Mrs. Mackey was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include two daughters: Jean Mackey and Ellen Mackey, both of Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law: James and Shirley Mackey, Wauwatosa; two grandchildren: Lucy (Damir) Bilaver, Chicago; James J. Mackey, Oak Creek; a sister, Jean M. Kolbeck, Manitowoc; and a brother: Anton Kolbeck, Manitowoc. She also was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home & CremationCare Center, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
