FELIX MILSKI

From Der Nord Westen, 23 Oct. 1902:
Death Sun., following a 2-wk. illness, of Felix Milski,
a well-known and respected resident of our city.

The deceased, who was born in Germany 20 Apr. 1842, came to America in 1882 and settled in Manitowoc. He worked many years here as a joiner. A few years ago he fell ill and never fully recovered.

He leaves a widow and 8 children to mourn his early death. The funeral was held Tues. morning from the Catholic Church. Exactly one week earlier, his son Max celebrated his wedding with Miss Kadow, "so life and death often lie close to each other.

*******

After an illness of two weeks, Felix Milski, and aged south side resident, yielded the struggle and entered into the sleep of death. His demise occurred in the early evening and was not unexpected.

Decedent had been a resident of the city and was well known. He was born in Germany April 20, 1842 and continued his residence there until 1882. Until of late years Mr. Milski had been employed as a carpenter. Two weeks ago he suffered an attack of illness and has failed steadily until death came to relieve him.

A family of eight children survive him. They are Frank, Chicago, Leo, Milwaukee, Max, Paul, Roman, Mrs. Joseph Willinger, Mrs. C. Wunderlich and Miss Elsie of this city.

The funeral will be held from St. Boniface Catholic church at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning and interment will be at Calvary.
