Lorenzo Irvin Brown, ged 81 of 5th Ave., patriarch of a family including 11 sons and daughters, 45 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, died unexpectedly at his home about 1 o'clock Monday morning after a brief illness.
He was born at Potter Creek Nov. 23, 1871, a son of Jacob and Catherine (Glenn) Brown. but had resided in Juniata for many years. Mr. Brown was a of the Lutheran church at Potter Creek.
Mrs. Brown leaves his wife. Edith Fink) the following children: -Mrs. Pearl Ferguson and OMI'S. Vera Beck of Juniata, -Mrs. Ethel Herring of South Altoona, Mrs. Georgianna Kamp of Bellmont Ill.. Irvin of Hopewell, Sheridan of Roaring Spring. Jay of New York City. Russell of Pleasant valley, Wilson and Benjamin in the army, and Charles Ulrey, an adopted son of Duncanville. Two grandchildren, Betty and John Brown also were reared in the home.
