Mr. Bankson died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Daystar Care Center in Cairo.

He was a CB radio operator.

Surviving are one brother, George A. Bankson of Mounds, and two sisters, Dawn Lackey of Anna and Wanda Ervin of Villa Ridge.

He was preceded in death by two infant sisters and one brother. His parents were Nello Everett Bankson Sr. and Edna M. Calvin Bankson.
