Ilion, Feb. 17. (Special.) - Patrick Carney died last evening at 7:30 o'clock at his home in River Street, aged 84 years. Mr. Carney was a much-respected citizen, and has lived in Ilion a long time. He is survived by six sons, Peter Carney of Schenectady, Rev. Eugene Carney of Cahoes, Rev. Thomas Carney, Plattsmouth, Nebraska; Patrick J., Michael and Phillip, and a daughter, Mrs. M. Meehan, of Frankfort. His sons, Eugene and Thomas, were in the far west when they were notified of the sickness, but did not reach here until 11:00 o'clock in the evening.
