In the 1900 census he is listed as farmer owning his own farm in Colerain township. Jacob passed away Aug 29 1906 at 50 years old. Him and Lucinda had 10 children together Lawrence Edward, Ora Alice, Ola Mae, Lillie Belle, Ada Catherine, Wallace Lee, Jacob Rallie, Irvin T and daughter Ina who passed at 15 days old.
