On September 24, 1929, she married Walter Mikulski at St. Josaphat's Church, a Polish parish on the south side of Pittsburgh. Stella and Walter had five children: Walt, Stan, Ray, Edwin, and Flo. Stella was a life long member of the Catholic faith, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by Raymond A. Lew.
