JOSEPHINE NUNAN RUSSELL DIES---Mrs. Josphine Nunan Russell 91, pioneer Jacksonville resident and mother of Donald J. Russell, retired president
of the Southern Pacific Railroad and present chairman of the board, died Tuesday morning in Saratoga, Calif. Mrs. Russell was the last member of the immediate family of Jeremiah and Delia Nunan. She was born in Jacksonville, where her father was a pioneer merchant. The Nunan house in the outskirts of Jacksonville was restored a number of years ago by James Grigsby of Medford and has been the subject of several articles, which presented it as a typical example of Victorian architecture. Mrs. Russell is survived by her son and daughter-in-law who reside in San Francisco; a grand-daughter, Mrs. Ann Miller, Monterey, Calif., and nine
great-grandchildren. . .
