Steve was born August 22, 1962 in Monroe, LA and passed away April 29, 2015 in West Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Pat Arant; grandmother, Callie Winn Arant. Steve was always helping people with their needs, enjoyed fishing and relaxing and having fun with family and friends. Steve is survived by his sisters, Sherry Arant, Crystal Arceneaux and husband Bryan; brothers, Jerry Arant and wife Rhonda, Doug Arant; nieces, Tara Davis and Hadlie Walker; nephews, Jerry Alan Arant, Waylon Arant, Josh Kilcrease, and Tyler Gordon. Pallbearers will be Eddie Duchene, Richie Brantley, Bo Herring, Dylan Hinkie, Luke Ward and Calvin Chapman. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Alan Arant, Waylon Arant, Josh Kilcrease and Tyler Gordon.
