WEISER — Services for Joel B. Gorrell, 84, longtime resident of Huntington. Ore., who died Monday at a Weiser nursing home after a long illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Northam Jones Chapel by the Rev. Walter Glenn. Interment will be at Fairview cemetery in Weiser.
He was born June 9, 1887, in Missouri. He grew up in Colorado where he farmed and ranched until he moved to Castleford, Idaho in 1915. He then lived at Mountain Home before moving to Huntington where he lived until entering a convalescent center at Weiser three years ago.
Survivors include two sons, Ted Gorrell, Ontario and Russ Gorrell, Baker. Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Lavonne Inchausti, Buhl, and Mrs. Lois Waldron, Fresno, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Hallie Downey, Twin Falls; and several grandchildren.
